Sea Breeze Guest House is situated in historical and picturesque Swakopmund, bordered by the breathtaking Atlantic Ocean and endless beaches on one side and the oldest desert in the world on the other. Swakopmund offers many different activities including quad biking, sand boarding, sky diving, kayaking, scenic flights, hot-air ballooning, dolphin cruises, fishing, and desert tours. We are an extremely family friendly establishment with 5 family units with self-catering facilities in 4 of them
We do our best to make sure our guests are safe and feel comfortable at all times. No close contact, regular screening of staff and guests, staff PPE, room cleaning and sanitisation, laundry protocols. See full details under Important Information.
Our facilities suits every self drive guests because of space in the rooms and a welcome reprieve from a camping trip[ in the bush. It is good to arrive at a place where you enjoy a bit of luxury before taking on the wild again.

GUESTS CHECK -IN:
WELCOME GUESTS WITH NO CLOSE CONTACT AND WEARING THE PRESCRIBED PPE.
SCREENING OF GUESTS & SANITIZE HANDS (INVITE GUESTS TO RECEPTION- STILL NO CLOSE CONTACT)
IF A GUEST TEMPERATURE FALLS WITHIN THE NORMAL RANGE AND THEY DO NOT SHOW ANY SYMPTOMS THEY WILL PROCEED WITH THE CHECK IN
IF A GUEST TEMPERTAURE IS HIGH AND THEY SHOW ANY KIND OF SYMPTOMS OF THE VIRUS THEY WILL BE DISSALLOWED TO CHECK-IN AND WILL BE REFERRED TO A MEDICAL FACILITY.
GUEST’S BOOK AND REGISTER WILL BE COMPLETED BY ALL GUESTS/VISISTORS VISITING THE PREMISES FOR RECORD AS PER NAMIBIAN GOVERMENT REGULATION.
HAND SANITIZERS ARE PLACED IN EASY REACH OF EACH GUESTS/VISITOR IN PUBLIC AREAS OF THE GUESTHOUSE
HAND SANITIZERS IS ALSO AVAILABLE AT RECEPTION FOR SALE AT A REASONABLE PRICE. 😊
ROOM -SERVICE:
ROOM SERVICE WILL BE LIMITED AT ALL TIMES TO AVOID CROSS-CONTAMINATION AND CONTACT
GUESTS STAYING LONGER THAN 3 DAYS IS REQUESTED TO CHANGE THEIR OW LINEN.
A BASKET WITH THE NAME OF THE ROOM WILL PLACED IN FRONT OF THE ROOM DOOR, IF ANY CLEAN LINEN OR TOWELS IS NEEDED AND IT WILL BE COLLECTED BY A STAFF MEMBER .
THE BASKET COLLECTED WILL BE CLEANED (SANITIZED/DISINFECTED) AND REPLACED WITH NEW CLEAN LINEN AND TOWELS & WILL BE PLACE BACK TO THE DOOR OF THE ROOM.
RUBBISH BIN/DUST BINS CAN ALSO BE PLACED OUTSIDE THE GUEST’S ROOM IF CLEANING ISNEEDED, A STAFF MEMBER WILL COLLECT IT FOR CLEANING (SANITIZED/DISINFECTED ) AND REPLACE IT ONCE DONE.
COFEE STATION & SEALED TIOLET PAPER IS AVAILBLE AT RECEPTION FOR COLLECTION BY EACH GUESTS AFTER BREAKFAST.
BREAKFAST:
WELCOMING, SCREENING AND SANITIZING OF THE HANDS BEFORE ENTERING THE BREAKFAST ROOM
REGISTER OF EACH GUEST’S WILL BE KEPT RECORD OF AS PER NAMIBIAN GOVERMENT REGULATION. (SCREENING TEMPERATURE WILL ALSO BE NOTED IN THE REGISTER)

HOT AND COLD BEVERAGES WILL BE AVAILABLE AT ALL TIMES , HANDLED BY ONE STAFF MEMBER WITH NEEDED PRESCRIBED PPE. (SERVED AT TABLE FROM KITCHEN)
TABLE CONFIGURATIONS ANS SEATING IS A MINIMUM OF 1 METER FROM ONE ANOTHER (THIS MEASAURE INFORCE SOCIAL DISTANCING)
FRUIT, CEREALS , COLD MEATS AND OTHER BUFFET ITEMS WILL BE SERVED DIRECTLY FROM THE KITCHEN
HOT BREAKFAST WILL BE PLATED IN THE KICTHEN AND SERVED TO THE GUESTS
GUEST’S BREAKFAST TABLE WILL NOT BE SERVICE DURING BREAKFAST ONLY AFTERWARDS, A SURFACE SANITIZER WILL BE APPLIED ALL OVER THE CHAIRS, TABLE, CUTLERY & CROCKERY.
ALL CUTLERY & CROCKERY WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE TABLE TO THE KITCHEN ALL LEFT OVERS WILL BE DUMPED IN A CONTAINER WITH A DISPOSABLE BAG IN IT WITH A LID (NO LEFT OVERS FROM PLATES WILL BE RE-USED)
CUTLERY & CROCKERY WILL BE PLACED IN HOT WATER WITH A DETERGENT AND DRIED THOROUGLY BEFORE BEING STORED FOR RE-USE
TABLE’S, CHAIRS, HARD SURFACES WILL BE KEPT CLEAN AND SANITIZED REGULARRY
TABLE CLOTHS AND OVERLAYS WILL BE REMOVED AND PLACED IN A DISPOSABLE BAG, UNTIL IT HAS BEEN WASHED, DRIED AND IRONED FOR NEXT USE
ROOM CLEANING/CHECK OUT:
STAFF MEMBER’S CLEANING ROOMS WILL WEAR CORRECT (PPE) WHILE ON DUTY
STAFF MEMBER ENTERING THE ROOM AFTER THE GUESTS CHECKED OUT, WILL FIRST START TO SANITIZE ALL THE “TOUCHED, USED INFECTED AREAS” WITH DISPOSABLE TOWEL PAPER AND SANITIZER
WINDOWS & DOORS WILL BE OPEN FOR WELL FRESH VENITALED AIR
SOILED LINEN AND TOWELS WILL BE COLECTED IN A BASKET OR DISPOSABLE PLASTIC BAG
ONCE THE LINENAND TOWELS IS REMOVED IT WILL BE TAKEN TO THE LAUNDRY FIRST BY THE STAFF MEMBER CLEANING THE ROOM. SOILED LINEN SHOULD BE PLACED IN THE MACHINE.
AFTER SETTING THE WASHING MACHINE, THE DOOR KNOB AND HANDLE WILL BE SANITIZED AND THE STAFF MEMBER WILL REMOVE HER GLOVES AND WASH HER HANDS IMMEDIATELY AND APPLY NEW CLEAN GLOVES
SAME STAFF MEMBER WILL RETURN TO THE ROOM, START CLEANING THE ROOM . ANY WATER USED FOR CLEANING IN A ROOM WILL BE DISPOSED-OF IN THE SAME ROOM AND NOT TAKEN TO THE NEXT ROOM OR CLEANING SPACE
THE ROOM WILL GET A RESTING PERIOD OF 72HR BEFORE THE LINEN & TWOELS WILL BE APPLIED. NO GUESTS WILL USE THE ROOM DURNG THIS 72HR PERIOD.
DISPOSABLE GLOVES WILL BE CHANGED AFTER EVERY ROOM CLEANED.
LAUNDRY:
ALL LAUNDRY PERSONAL WILL WEAR PPE WHILE ON DUTY
ONE STAFF MEMBER WILL HANDLE ALL CLEAN LINEN BETWEEN THE LAUNDRY AND STORE ROOMS
THE STORE ROOMS & LAUNDRY WILL BE KEPT CLEANED AND SANITIZED AT ALL TIMES HANDLED BY ONE STAFF MEMBER
LAUNDRY MANAGER IS ONLY WORKING IN THE LAUNDRY AND STORE ROOMS AND HE/SHE IS ALSO RESPONSIBLE TO MAKE SURE THE RIGHT SETTINGS FOR THE WASHING MACHINES, TUMBLE DRYERS IS SELECTED
LAUNDRY BASKETS AND ABAGS WILL BE SANITIZED AND CLEANED MORE THAN REGULARLY
GUEST’S LAUNDRY WILL NOT BE WASHED TOGETHER BUT SEPARATELY TO AVOID CROSS CONTAMINATION
STAFF MEMBERS;
ALL STAFF MEMBERS FROM SEA BREEZE GUESTHOUSE WILL BE SREENED & SANITIZEDWHEN REPORTING FOR DUTY
A REGISTER WILL BE COMPLETED IN FULL BY THE MANAGER ON DUTY EACH DAYWITH THE SCREENING TEMPERATURE .
ALL STAFF MEMBERS WILL WEAR THEIR PPE WHILE ON DUTY, OTHERWISE ACTIONS WILL BE TAKEN AND DISMISSAL WILL BE REQUESTED FROM THE STAFF MEMBER
ALL STAFF MEMBERS IS FULLY INFORMED TO ALWAYS BE AWARE OF WHAT IS GOING N AROUND THEM AND TO ALWAYS SANITIZE HARD SURFACES, CHAIRS, TABLES, GUEST’S TOILET.
ALL STAFF MEMBERS MUST PROMOTE GOOD RESPIRATORY AND HYGIENE AT ALL TIMES
IF ANY STAFF MEMBER DO FEEL ILL WHILE WORKING THEY MUST AND WILL REPORT WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT TO THE MANAGER ON DUTY.
