Sea-Esta is a spacious double-storey self-catering family home located in the peaceful Mosselbank area of Paternoster, close to the beach. The house has limited sea views and is perfect for a family vacation. The house accommodates up to 6 guests with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, a separate scullery and laundry room, and an open-plan lounge and dining area.Upstairs, the first bedroom features a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath and handheld shower attachment and opens to a private covered balcony. Important Information
*The cardholder & ID/Passport must be present at check-in.
*The credit card used for the online payment must be present at check-in.
Deposit:
* The deposit is payable immediately to secure the booking.
* Please note that your booking will not be confirmed until the proof of payment has been received and the amount is reflected in our bank account. Please ensure that you enter the correct booking number as a beneficiary reference so that the payment can be correctly allocated to your booking.
Outstanding Balance:
* Please ensure that the outstanding balance is paid at least 7 working days before arrival.
* Should a booking be made 7 days or less before arrival, the full amount will be payable as a deposit. Kindly forward proof of payment via e-mail.
Key and Breakage:
* A R1500 key & breakage deposit is payable with the deposit before arrival. The amount depends on the unit.
* Keys will not be handed over under any circumstances unless the key and breakage deposit have been received.
* This deposit is refundable by bank transfer within 5 to 7 working days after departure, once a house has been checked and all is found in order.
* Please note that the key deposit will be retained and additional charges imposed if more guests than booked are found to be utilizing the premises.
Cleaning Fee:
* Please be advised that some of the units have a standard cleaning/linen fee that needs to be paid in cash on arrival. This is not for daily cleaning, it's for cleaning and linen on the check-out day.
* Please note that an additional cleaning fee may be deducted from the key and breakage deposit should a house be left with excessive dirty dishes and/or linen or any other unsatisfactory state.
* Please furnish us with your banking details before arrival for the refund of the key/breakage deposit.
Check-in and Check-out:
* Check-in time is strictly between 15h00 to 17h00 (Monday to Thursay), 15h00 to 19h00 (Friday) and 15h00 to 16h00 (Saturday, Sunday and public holidays).
* No check-ins will be entertained on Christmas Day, Good Friday, Ascension Day or New Year's Day.
* A surcharge of R250 per hour or part thereof will be charged for any arrival later than check-in time as indicated. This surcharge is deductible from the Key and Breakage deposit. The guest consents to this deduction.
* Check-out time is strictly at 10h00 on the last day of your stay, unless specifically arranged otherwise.
* Any unit that is not vacated by 10h00 will be subject to a surcharge of R250 per hour or part thereof, for each hour exceeding the check-out time. The surcharge is deductible from the Key & Breakage deposit. The guest consents to this deduction.
House Rules:
* Please note that the units all have different key/breakage deposits and cleaning fees. This will be set out in your final confirmation.
* Only the booked and paid number of guests are allowed at a booked property. Extra guests arriving will be charged the full per-person rate per night. Should you wish to entertain extra guests, this needs to be arranged before arrival.
* No parties.
* No big group get-togethers
* No bachelor or bachelorette parties, spit braais or children's parties.
* No smoking in the units or rooms.
* Please note that all our rental units are Self-catering therefore we only provide a starter kit of toilet paper (one roll per bathroom), a small amount of washing-up liquid and/or two dishwasher blocks and two rubbish bags.
* Unless otherwise stated, units are not serviced. If you would like to request a cleaner during your stay please, inform us before check-in. The cleaner fee will be paid upfront in cash.
* During a longer stay, linen and towels will only be replaced after 10 nights, due to the current drought in the Western Cape. The house will not be serviced, only fresh linen provided. Should guests require clean linen before 10 nights, it will be charged separately.
* High season rates are charged for the Easter long weekend and Jazz on the Rocks weekend in February.
* Paternoster Holiday Accommodation/Rentals and Property Management reserves the right to cancel and refund accommodation, or move guests to similar alternative accommodation should the need arise, for reasons beyond our control and not due to our negligence.
* Paternoster Holiday Accommodation/Rentals and Property Management acts as a manager for individual owners of units and is not authorized to make or agree to refunds for any reason. Refunds will be made at the sole discretion of the rental property’s owner. In the event of a refund being authorized by the owner, it will be subject to a 15% administration fee charged to the account of the guest. The guest consents to this deduction.
* The main attraction of Paternoster is its peacefulness and serenity. There is an unofficial rule in Paternoster that everyone should be quiet after 22h00 at night. We would appreciate it if you could adhere to this and respect the neighbours, failing which you will be asked to vacate the premises.
* Bring along your own food, drinks, beach towels and wood. We also offer the service of delivering wood to your unit. Please enquire when making your booking.
Jurisdiction:
* All guests consent to the jurisdiction of the Vredenburg Magistrates Court in the event of any litigation that may result from this agreement. Paternoster Holiday Accommodation/Rentals and Property Management will be charged as attorney and own client costs. Paternoster Holiday Accommodation/Rentals and Property Management will not be held responsible/liable for any loss, damage, or injury that may arise during your stay.
