About Sauvignon Country Lodge

Welcome to Sauvignon Country Lodge, a 100-year-old classified wine farm in Cape Dutch style in the heart of the Cape Winelands, renovated to perfection and utilizing its beautiful historic features with all modern amenities.

Our four luxuriously appointed suites and well-fitted self-catering apartment boast breathtaking views of endless vineyards, fruit orchards and majestic mountain ranges.

Sauvignon Country Lodge features a 3300-square-meter landscaped garden which includes a swimming pool, a pond, a breakfast terrace and a braai area. It is located on a rural country road amidst the vineyards, only 4 km away from the impressive Groenberg mountains.

Sauvignon remains within walking distance of the town center and its university. It is very close to shops, restaurants and many award-winning wine estates. Wellington was awarded international ‘Top Wine Area’ in 2010.

★★★★★ Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to call our hosts at after 1130 to open for us and they were swift in assisting us and ensuring that we got access to our room. The breakfast was generous and fresh and it was beautiful to enjoy it on the terrace. Highly recommended !
