About Sambiya River Lodge

Sambiya River Lodge offers comfortable accommodation within the Murchison Falls National Park. The accommodation is provided in a large self-catering house. The house sleeps 10 people and is ideal for groups and large families.

The lodge offers accommodation in Cottage rooms, Bunda Rooms and Courier Rooms. All the Cottage rooms have private bathrooms while the Bunda rooms have a communal ablution block and the Courier rooms have four shared bathrooms. Breakfast is included in the rate with additional meals and lunch packs available on request.

There is solar power energy. Guests take their meals in the lodge dining area.

Safari: Our lodge is the closest to the world renown Murchison Falls. Guests can take advantage of the nearby Honeymoon Circuit. They can also use their transport to go chimp trekking about 40 minutes from us.

Conference Venues: We have 26 cottage room. 13 with double beds and 13 with twin beds. Depending if guests are husbands & wives, or if they are willing to share a twin room, we can accommodate from 26 (singles) to 52 (sharing).

Family friendly: We love to have children!!! Family friendly pool. Board games. Baby high chairs.

Romantic: Evenings at the camp fire or on cottage verandas, under the starry moon lit night sky are spectacular!
