Nestled in the beautiful valley of Tonteldoos, Riverman Cabin Country Lodge is the perfect place to exchange traffic for donkeys lazily grazing, rushed lunches for a picnic in nature and city noises for an evening song, sung by crickets and orchestrated by frogs, a surplus of fresh country air and wide-open spaces. Riverman Cabin is situated in the Tonteldoos Valley, +-30 km northeast of Dullstroom, which is approximately a 3-hour drive from Johannesburg.The farm features 7 pet friendly cottages and cabins (5 which are fenced off), rustically elegant and decorated in a unique style
Bring your clubs along and test your skills at the Mine view Driving Range! Clubs available for those who aren't regular players, but keen to give it a try.
Seating 50, our stunning white Chapel, coupled with breathtaking surroundings and views from the Chapel’s balcony (especially in summer), is the perfect venue for intimate weddings.
Bindle sticks can be purchased for the young ones to enjoy while exploring the farm.
Picnics and romantic turn-downs which include sparkling wine upon arrival and romantic packages are available.

Important Information
Check-in times: 2 pm - 7 pm, unless arranged otherwise beforehand with either management or owners.
Riverman Cabin is a farm located in the Hamlet of Tonteldoos and therefore accessed via a 27 km gravel road on the preferred route from Dullstroom with an estimated 40min of travel time. (Other routes may require 4x4)
Due to our private, remote and mountainous location, please expect the relevant terrain. The roads are gravel and only for those with a sense of adventure. You can expect a bumpy ride on certain sections and therefore we strongly recommend a high clearance vehicle.
Should you be travelling in a sedan, please take a slow drive up and we suggest that you
lower your tyre to 1.9bar (low profile vehicle is not recommended).
Our rainy seasons are in the summer months and the roads may be muddy and slippery, we recommend extra precautionary driving during our wet seasons.
Please try and arrive in daytime to make the navigation on the road easier and to admire the beauty of untouched nature, we promise that your trip up to us will be well worth it.
