Welcome to Rivendell Trout EstateThe Rivendell Cottages is on the banks of the Spekboom River, which is regularly stocked with rainbow trout. Each cottage has 4 en-suite bedrooms, a large open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area and a huge fireplace for winter evenings. Outside is a large deck with amazing views and barbeque.Stay in one of our family cottages in the Finsbury Valley, and build unforgettable memories while fly fishing for trout, going for nature walks and enjoying a game drive. ★★★★★ Weather you fish or not there aren’t many places where you get 1.5km of beautiful river to yourself in a nature reserve. Fantastic chalets with all the bells and whistles with great views of the river. Birding is great, saw a Half Collared Kingfisher and a Narina Trogon an my last trip. Fishing is great too as long as you stay out of sight of the fish.The host Angus is very friendly and helpful. Read more
