About Rita's Guesthouse

Rita’s Guesthouse was established in 1997 by Rita Johnston, whom is still actively running the guesthouse and ensuring that you receive services of the best quality. The guest house has a warm, homely atmosphere where you can kick off your shoes and relax after a busy day. You will find 25 rooms which are set in tranquil gardens.Breakfast is served daily in the large dining room and dinner can be provided on request. We also have a small pub, recreation area and conference facilities. The pool area is a must for summer visitors and laundry facilities are available on the premis

Conference Venues: We have a conference venue with an overhead projector, whiteboard and flip chart.

At R170pp/sharing per night including breakfast, it seemed like a good deal. If you need a place to sleep for a few hours at night, it is ok. The rooms are not as clean as they should be! The reception people need to make an effort to at least look friendly and welcoming.

My stay at Ritas Guest house was very enjoyable for the most part, except for the fact that we didnt have any hot water.My parther and i stayed for two night and we never had any hot water. so much so we were asked to shower in Room 19 from Room 29. which also had no hot water.This was very dissapointing.

I stayed at this so called 3 Star accommodation for one night. The food was aweful, I sent it back twice and landed up not eating; the meat and the veg was overcooked and the potatos smelled like fish.To top it off, the bedroom main light was not working and I was told sorry but there was nothing they could do.
