The Lodge
The Rio Vista Lodge is a four star lodge situated on the banks of the Crocodile River, with panoramic views of the Kruger National Park. The Lodge is best suited for guests looking for a quiet and relaxing break, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The lodge provides a tranquil setting ideal for bird watching and game viewing. Resident guests are able to enjoy our beautiful infinity pool overlooking the park, relax in our lush gardens or take in the view from our viewing deck. Private or group game drives into the Kruger National Park can be arranged during your stay.
Our residents can partake in a complimentary breakfast which is served at The Deck Restaurant daily between 07h00 and 10h00.
All our air-conditioned rooms and suites at Rio Vista are elegantly decorated with modern furniture and colourful decor. All room types have an en-suite bathrooms and patios. Our Luxury rooms have full bathrooms. The Honeymoon suite has a spa bath. Our four sleeper garden view family units are best suited for 2 adults and 2 young children, as these units have a single bathroom which is situated in the main bedroom. The lodge boasts 27 rooms. Eight standard river view rooms, two luxury river view rooms, one luxury garden facing room, eleven standard garden view rooms, 4 garden view family units, 1 Honeymoon suite with river views.
The lodge unfortunately does not offer self-catering accommodation whatsoever. Kindly note that guests are not permitted to bring their own alcohol onto the Lodge premises. The Deck Restaurant does offer an array of cocktails and a wide range of carefully selected wines and spirits for your drinking pleasure
We do offer free Wi-Fi, however please be advised that due to our location, speed and connectivity is not always at optimum capacity.
The location of the lodge is perfect for those guests wanting to use the lodge as a base while visiting the Kruger National park. The entrance to the Malelane Gate is a mere 9.6 km from the lodge.

The Lodge has a beautiful and unique open air restaurant. Enjoy the views directly onto the Crocodile River while you enjoy a delectable variety of dishes from our A la Carte menu, lovingly prepared by our team of dedicated chefs. .
