Rhino Plains offers several different dining areas within the lodge, from an indoor dining room with a cosy fireplace or an alfresco deck overlooking the busy waterhole with endless views. There is also a traditional South African experience in a “Boma”, with a roaring fire under the stars.

At Rhino Plains, breakfast, lunch, dinner, as well as soft drinks and alcoholic beverages, are included. This is where a range of diverse cuisines and a variety of meals can be enjoyed – comforting, hearty, rustic and joyful food and desserts to satisfy all palates and eating requirements. On the morning game drive experience, warm coffee and beverages are served with accompanying pastries as you stop to witness the wildlife awakening. The afternoon sunset drives are breathtaking and can be celebrated with a glass of bubbly or beverage of your choice while you enjoy a savoury snack. Conservation fees are included within the rates.

Rhino Plains is fully self-sufficient and operates on its private solar power. Clean and clear borehole water is used in the lodge straight from the heart of the Waterberg. It also boasts a large and efficient grey water system that is the watering source for the gardens.
