Plantation House and Cottage

Plantation House and Cottage would be taken in conjunction with each other as then you would be able to share both the swimming pool and the entertainment area. The main house or the cottage can be booked exclusively. Both units are located on the beach with a swimming pool and large entertaining area to one side.The House has five bedrooms; four bedrooms have double beds and one bedroom has twin beds. The House has five bedrooms; four bedrooms have double beds and one bedroom has twin beds. All bedrooms have mosquito nets, overhead fans and air-conditioning and there are five bathrooms. There is a lovely dining area and a cosy indoor living room with satellite TV, CD player and a sitting area overlooking beach. There is a large swimming pool with a covered bar alongside featuring several different seating areas and a squash court. The house has direct access to the beach and is fully staffed including a very good cook.

The Cottage has two large double bedrooms each with air-conditioning, overhead fans, mosquito nets and lovely en-suite shower rooms. The living area is modern with a satellite TV and dining table for six people. The Cottage is cleaned daily and the staff includes a cook and a night watchman.

Away from the beach and sea is Mida Creek where you can go for boat and dhow trips. A guided tour of a local Giriama village can be arranged. Slightly further afield is Gede which is 11 km from Watamu. Gede is a national museum with the Gede Ruins.
