Important Information

1. PAYMENT
In order to confirm your booking 50% deposit needs to be paid if you are booking more than 2 weeks in advance. If your booking is within 2 weeks of your arrival then 100 % needs to be paid to confirm the booking.
Full payment needs to be paid 2 weeks prior to arrival date. Otherwise your booking will be deemed as cancelled.
Deposit need to be paid within 1 day of receiving an invoice if the deposit has not been paid we reserve the right to rebook the property on a first pay first book basis. A breakage deposit of R500 is payable upon arrival. The breakage deposit is refunded within 10 days of departure subject to satisfactory inspection of the property by Phezulu Management. Non-payment of the full balance of the rental on or before the due date shall be construed as a termination of the contract by the Client. No activities are included in the price for accommodation.
Alterations
If a client wishes to alter their booking the Manager will endeavour to comply, however alteration cannot be guaranteed.

3. VAT
No VAT is applicable on any transactions.

4. LIABILITY
Phezulu and its employees do not accept third party liability in respect of breach of contract, negligence, misrepresentation or otherwise. In addition, liability does not extend to circumstances amounting to “Force Majeure”.
Phezulu shall not be held responsible for the loss or damage of any nature, including that as a result of theft or bodily injury suffered by any person who enters these premises and utilizes the facilities on offer arising out of any circumstances whatsoever.

5. PERIOD OF HIRE
Rentals commence, unless otherwise notified, at 14h00 on the day of arrival and terminate at 10h00 on the day of departure. Check in time on the day of arrival is between 14:00 – 17:00 if the Client will be arriving after 17:00 Phezulu needs to be notified to make the necessary arrangements.

6. NUMBER OF PERSONS IN THE PROPERTY
The number of persons occupying the property must not exceed the amount stipulated by guest in the Check in form at any one time. Phezulu reserves the right to refuse entry to the entire party, or apply extra charges if this condition is not observed.


7. FOOD
7.1 Food in the Lodge
If Client books a Lodge room the Lodge kitchen may not be used for cooking, preparing food or the braai area may not be used. Client do have a tea and coffee station in their room.
If the Client rents the entire Lodge Room 1-5 the kitchen may be used and the Lodge would function as a self-catering unit.
No food is included in the price for the Lodge rooms

7.2 Food in the Chalets
Chalets are booked as self-catering units no food is included in the price of the chalet. If windows or doors are left open and monkeys eat or damage food in chalets or lodge Phezulu cannot be held responsible. Enough tea, coffee, sugar and milk or coffee creamer is provided in the chalets for one cup per person.

8. CARE OF THE PROPERTY
The Client shall take all reasonable and proper care of the property and its furniture, pictures, fittings and effects in or on the property and leave them in the same state of repair and in the same clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period as at the beginning.

9. BREAKAGES, DAMAGE OR LOSS OF KEYS
The Client is legally bound to reimburse Phezulu for replacement, repair or extra cleaning costs on demand or breakage deposit will be withheld to cover the cost. No Littering in the car park, braai or garden areas is allowed.

10. PETS
We regret that we do not allow pets on the Property.

11. MUNICIPALITY
We have a continuous supply of electricity and drinkable water from the Municipality. Phezulu cannot be held responsible for interruptions due to faults, water restrictions or load shedding.

12. RIGHT OF ENTRY
Phezulu Staff members shall be allowed the right of entry to the property at all reasonable times for purposes of inspection or to carry out any necessary repairs or maintenance.

13. SMOKING
Smoking is not permitted inside the Lodge or Chalets. Patio areas are provided where smoking is allowed.

14. CHILDREN
Clients must accept responsibility for the safety of their children at all times.

15. BEHAVIOUR
Clients are obliged to take care that the peace of the establishment is not disturbed by themselves and/or their party. Failure to observe this condition may result in termination of the rental. Please be respectful to other guests and refrain from using loud music or excessive noise on the premises. Functions, picnics or music are only aloud in case of written proof by a Phezulu Manager that it has been arranged and it may not impact other guests.

16. INTERNET
Internet connection is supplied by Telkom. Phezulu cannot be held responsible for internet interruptions. There are 2 access points at Phezulu, the Lodge and the Spaza restaurant. The chalets are not in reach of the Wifi signal.

17. SWIMMING POOL
The pool area may be used by all Phezulu guests staying over. Please be respectful towards other guests. Key for the pool area is kept at reception. The pool does not have a heating system. Children are not allowed to swim without adult super vision at all times .Alcohol is not allowed in the pool area. Glass is not allowed in the pool area for the safety of the Clients. Phezulu does not provide a life guard for the pool area it is used, at the Clients own risk.
