Nestled on the edge of the Indian Ocean in the coastal Village of Schoenmakerskop, Pebbles Beach Cottage offers a welcome relief from the nearby city of Port Elizabeth. We are ideally situated for visitors who want to do business or visit friends in town, yet have an endless horizon when they wake in the morning. It is unlikely that you will find a room with better views anywhere in town.

Children are welcome and the downstairs unit has two single beds in the living area to accommodate our younger guests. There is also a DVD player with a selection of movies for those rainy days along with a limited selection of TV channels.

The upstairs unit, The Penthouse, is a single large room and a bathroom. The unit is the same size as the downstairs unit and with the doors open, you can lie in bed and watch the waves roll in from the Indian Ocean. If guests have any complaints it is that the noise of the sea keeps them awake.

The kitchens are fully equipped and bathrooms include both shower and baths. Lock up garages, Wi-Fi and braai facilities are available.

Beautiful hikes, swimming beaches and rock pools are on your doorstep, yet the hustle and bustle of Port Elizabeth is only 10 minutes away. The most popular walk is the Sacramento trail which follows the coast to Sardinia Bay and the meanders inland through the fynbos on the way back.

The “Gulley” has a lovely sheltered beach, ideal for children but if you want to catch a wave Sardinia Bay is just a few kilometres down the coast. Also nearby you will find Samrec, the penguin rehabilitation centre and “The Plantation”, an award winning wedding venue.
