The Palace Torre de Ruesga was designed and executed in 1610 by renowned architect Diego de Sisniega who had previously worked at the construction of the Royal Monastery of San Lorenzo de El Escorial (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). With his work in Ruesga Sisniega established what would later become the ideal prototype for all noble houses and palaces in Cantabria. br / br / br / br / The palace has recently been restored with the utmost respect for its rich history preserving all the details and grandeur of the 17th century.
