Paje by Night is a lovely resort surrounded by lush gardens, palms and tropical trees, located just 100 m from the beach. The beautiful beach of Paje, one of the most pristine of the island has fortunately still not been reached by mass tourism. Just a minute’s walk through a path of fine as talcum powder white sand will lead you to the beach. Paje by Night offers its guests sunbeds, umbrellas and beach towel services.
The low tide offers the opportunity to walk toward the reef, encountering first beautiful starfish, then the first corals and finally the first tropical fishes. Guests wishing to just relax can benefit from use of the private solarium around the pool, and the Jacuzzi.
Paje by Night’s à la carte restaurant menu offers a selection of dishes from the traditional Swahili cuisine, to Indian and Italian specialities, which in Zanzibar can be expressed at best thanks to the fresh ingredients daily available.
The bar is open usually until the last customer decides it’s time to go to bed, serving a variety of cocktails and alcoholic drinks, wines by the glass and bottle, soft drinks and minute made tropical fruit juices.
Every Friday and only on Friday we organize a party with music and dances with the participation of guests coming from nearby resorts as well. The others evening and nights are spent in a most quiet way, socialising at the bar or watching the stars on the Latvian deckchairs around the fire in the middle of the garden, laid out in the hammocks in front of the bar or just relaxing under the umbrellas in makuti scattered in the corners of the village.
Last, there plenty of games like bao, karoon Indian soccer and the pool-table. Those who cannot lose a football match can enjoy the dedicated TV space with satellite connection. A Wi-Fi internet connection is available in the resort’s public areas.
