Oyster Cottages consists of two independent self-catering cottages, sharing a single corner property, nestled in one of Umhlanga’s oldest suburbsPerfectly situated, the self-catering units are a mere five-minute drive from beaches, restaurants and shopping centers. Once the farmhouse of an early Umhlanga fruit farm, the six-sleeper main cottage, Oyster Lodge, has been elegantly renovated, whilst the spacious two-sleeper Pearl Cottage was built from scratch.Acacia trees line the road and guests are welcomed to a well-manicured garden with partial sea views. We didn't in fact stay at Oyster Cottages as planned & paid for. Without consultation we were advised on arrival that our accommodation had been changed. However, we were assured the upgrade to a 3 bed house was exclusive use. This also wasn't case as we discovered another couple were resident on the property. Absolutely loved my stay at the pearl cottage ! Spacious layout , close to the beach and all necessities , friendly staff who made us feel welcomed. Best pet friendly , secluded hidden gem in Umghlanga.
