About Ololo Safari Lodge & Farm

Ololo Safari Lodge offers the warmth and comfort of a home with effortless style and personalized service. The lodge is located on the southern banks of the beautiful Mbagathi River border of Nairobi National Park, just 45 minutes from both airports.

The lodge's secluded location feels like a world away. Located on a productive 20-acre working commercial farm, Ololo offers the joys of delicious "paddock to plate" fresh ingredients. Guests can settle and soak up a unique safari experience in our established and secluded gardens.

Ololo’s rooms are unique and diverse, each tastefully appointed with attention to historical detail. The accommodation at Ololo ranges from the farm's old converted stables, our tented cottages under Makuti thatch, the original suites in the main house and our two family cottages.

In the cooler months, guests may sit by the fire pit in the garden or cosy up to our blazing fireplace in the inviting living room. Our stone-clad cellar and small library are close at hand. Whatever time of the year you visit, it’s easy to enjoy the serenity and home-style comfort that Ololo offers.

Wildlife is right on our doorstep and all can enjoy breathtaking views over the national park, to the famed Ngong Hills in the west, sundowner in hand. Or you may like to spend the hours away at the lodge by the pool, adventure on a safari into the park, take a tour of the Ololo Farm or perhaps an excursion with us into historic Karen.

Important Information

- Rates Include:
* Airport transfers (arrival & departure) from JKIA and Wilson airports and hotels near these airports
* Full breakfast, 2-course lunch and 3-course dinner, soft drinks, house wine, house beer, selected spirits

* Two game drives per day in Nairobi National Park (minimum 4 people guarantee exclusive vehicle use), guided farm tours and kid’s farm program, guided walks to Anselm & Kitengela Hot Glass.
* Excursions to David Sheldrick’s Wildlife Trust (entry fees payable by the guest and 11 am sessions must be pre-booked by the guest).
* Check-in time: 12h00 midday.
* Check-out time: 10h00 am.
- Rates exclude:
* NNP Park Fees (24-hour pass). This fee goes directly to the Kenyan Wildlife Service to support the conservation of our park and is subject to change.
* Extra meal after checkout (USD 35).
* Local excursions to Karen (full list provided).
* Spa and massage treatments
* Champagne, premium spirits, premium wines, cocktails.
* Note: Nairobi National Park fees are valid for 24 hours. If your arrival time is earlier than your departure time, you will be charged an extra park ticket.
* Late Departure: for departures after 17h00 - $100/adult and $75/child. Includes day use of the lodge, extra lunch, dinner and drinks up until departure. Please note that check-out of the room remains at 10h00am unless a day room is booked.
* Day Room: 75% of the nightly rate. Includes transfers, day accommodation, 1 game drive, up to 2 meals, soft drinks, house wine, beer, and selected spirits.
* Note: Nairobi National Park fees are valid for 24 hours. If your arrival time is earlier than your departure time, you will be charged an extra park ticket.
