The farm Namibgrens runs in the Rabie family since 1940. The old spacious farmhouse has been renovated and turned into a relaxed haven for tourists surrounded by a lovely garden. We have no swimming pool, but the four earth dams around the farmhouse more than compensates. The farmhouse with a lovely garden and surrounding earth dams, provide the opportunity for bird watchers to explore the mysteries and grace of the wide variety found in the area during the summer and winter season. Pelicans, Flamingos and Black Eagles are occasionally spotted.

Namibgrens Guest Farm is situated on the escarpment that provides ever-lasting views over the Namib Desert. Different scenes from different angles are possible by either driving on the main road, guided farm tours or by hiking trails.

The rocky and ever changing landscape with its rich fauna and flora allows the hiker to explore nature on the challenging and picturesque dassie hiking trails that vary from 2 hours to 3 day hikes. They provide breathtaking scenes over the Namib Desert and the farm itself and not to mention Klipspringer, Mountain Zebra, Kudu, Dassies, Baboons and Steenbok that can be seen on the trails.
