Important Information
BOOKING AND CANCELLATION
A deposit of 25% of the total cost is required to confirm your safari, the balance is payable within
60 days prior to your arrival. In the event of cancellation 60 days in advance of the safari, your
deposit is refundable in full less 10% handling fee. Cancellations within 60 days to commencement
of the safari will be refunded less 25% deposit received. All cancellations received within 30 days
prior to commencement of the safari are termed as late cancellations and therefore the sums paid
are non-refundable.
LIABILITY AND INSURANCE
AfricaExpeditions is insured against legal liabilities arising from any injuries which might be
received by passengers whilst in its vehicles. The company liability to passengers carried in its
vehicles is governed by the laws of the Republic in which the safari is taking place and no other
country; and all claims are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the country in which the
cause of action arises. If you have booked a camel, rafting, horseback or walking expedition, it is
your responsibility to cover yourself with appropriate accident insurance. These forms of
adventure are considered a dangerous sport and you must be covered by your own insurance
brokers at home.
RESPONSIBILITY
Quoted tour prices include planning, handling and operational charges, and are quoted based on
the current rate of exchange. In the event of a marked increase in foreign exchange or tariff rates,
costs are subject to revision.
AfricaExpeditions purchases transportation, hotel accommodations, restaurant and other
services from various independent suppliers that are not subject to its control. AfricaExpeditions
CANNOT, THEREFORE, BE LIABLE FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE that may
occur due to 1) any act or omission of such a supplier, or 2) defects in or failures of any aircraft,
vessel, automotive vehicle or other means of transportation that is not under its control.
AfricaExpeditions reserves the right to adjust U.S. Dollar prices without notice, to reflect
fluctuations in the Foreign Exchange Markets. AfricaExpeditions also reserves the right to
withdraw a tour or any part of it, to make such alternations in the itinerary as it deems necessary
or desirable, to refuse to accept or retain as a member of any tour any person at any time, and to
pass on to tour members any expenditure or losses caused by delays or events beyond its control.
