No stay at Mutemwa would be complete without a sunset cruise followed by a dinner of authentic African cuisine in the boma around a roaring campfire. Each of Mutemwa Lodge’s six Luxury Tents boasts an en-suite bathroom, a private deck and includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Situated on the western bank of the great Zambezi River, Mutemwa Lodge caters for 12 guests in luxurious tented accommodation. Your every need is met by a staff of 22. Each tent is atop a teak deck with a patio ensuring a stunning, completely private view of the Zambezi. Each guest suite has a full bathroom and sleeps two in either single or luxury queen-size beds.

Meals are substantial and home cooked with freshly caught local fish and game being popular choices. Dinner is served al fresco around the campfire in the boma. Enjoy a lazy champagne breakfast on the beach. Lunch is often served on the lower deck overlooking the Zambezi, in the shade of the riverine forest. The central area of the thatched lodge consists of a fully stocked bar, a TV and a dining room.
