Welcome to Muluwa Lodge.

Muluwa Lodge enjoys a magnificent location near the town of White River in proximity to the game rich Kruger National Park of South Africa. The reserve is home to many animals, including giraffe, zebra, impala, warthogs and nyala as well as over 200 bird species.The lodge is an 11-minute drive away from the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport and only 21 minutes from Nelspruit. It lies near the Kruger National Park, the stunning beaches of Mozambique and the scenic Blyde River Canyon.

The lodge comprises of two Luxury Suites and eight Superior Rooms. The tented camp comprises of twelve Luxury safari tents. All of which provide convenient amenities to ensure a most comfortable stay. The Luxury Suites are built at either end of the lodge and ensure privacy for guests looking for something more secluded. Each Luxury suite has one king size bed with 100% cotton linen. There is a separate lounge private deck to relax. The open plan bathrooms have jet stream showers and an oversized bathtub. Outside is an outdoor shower and a private plunge pool that is perfect to relax in after a long afternoon in the bush. The Superior Rooms all have an en-suite bathroom and lounge area. They have a large wooden deck that is the perfect spot to sit for avid bird watchers, and it has a private outdoor shower. A sleeper couch can be arranged for younger guests who are staying at the lodge. The Luxury Safari tents are air-conditioned, feature an en-suite bathroom with shower and stocked mini-bar. All tents offer a private wooden deck with views over the bush veld and surrounding valleys.

Attractions in the area include the Kruger National Park (guided walking safaris and game drives), The Blyde River Canyon and Panorama Route. Other activities in the area include microlight, helicopter flips, quad biking, horse riding, river rafting, skyway trails, visits to the Jane Goodall Chimp Eden or Sudwala caves, to name a few.

Spa: In room massage treatments can be arranged, bookable prior to arrival.

Wedding Venues: Muluwa can accommodate 44 guests overnight for an intimate bushveld wedding. The Restaurant can seat 60 guests, and bigger weddings can be arranged on the vast sprawling lawns.

Family friendly: Our Superior Rooms and Luxury Suites can accommodate extra beds, and we can cater for a family of 2 adults + 2 children comfortably. The estate has a variety of plains game and bird species; families can explore the hiking trails safely.

Self-drive Safari Package: The “Numbi” Kruger Park entrance is just a 50 minutes drive away. Perfectly situated to explore some of SA's most famous attractions like the Kruger National Park, the Blyde River Canyon and the scenic Panorama Route.

Guided Safaris: Guided game drives with experienced rangers can be arranged prior to arrival. Transfers to/from Numbi gate is also possible on request.
