The 27km long and 5km wide lagoon is an ideal family spot with long white stretches of sand for beach games and shallow, calm water for safe swimming. Important Information
Bookings
All tours accommodation, transfers, flights and activities are subject to availability until such time as deposits are received, notwithstanding the fact that at the time of request, availability may have been confirmed.
Prices quoted, unless otherwise specifically notified in writing, are as per the standard and are subject to change at the sole discretion of Briza Do Mar 2 Reservations.
Prices are subject to any increases in air fares, land arrangements, or any other costs that may affect the booking. All quotes are subject to these increases and costs.
Any extensions, additions, variations or deviations from the booking may incur supplementary charges especially cancellation of accommodation units after the required 50% deposit has been paid. This will be handled as a normal cancellation.
Rates and quotes do not include any visa/ passport costs or any air ticket/passport/document /courier/delivery charges, or any airport departure taxes, airline fuel or any other levies and taxes that may be implemented.
Rates quoted are subject to exchange rate fluctuations, and final cost will be determined and finalized, as at the date of the receipt of full payment. Briza Do Mar 2 Reservations reserves the right to accept any payments made against any booking, at the exchange rate when payment was made.
Rates and quotes do not include any VAT, or any sales taxes, that may be payable.
All payment for the booking must be made in full 45 days prior to arrival.
Payment
A minimum of 50% non – refundable, non transferable, deposit of total Booking price (including any additional charges, including equipment rental, additional excursions etc) is required to secure a booking. No reservations request can be considered booked until such deposit is received.
The full balance 45 days prior to arrival.
Should payments not be received as per this schedule, the booking will automatically be deemed cancelled, with forfeiture of all amounts paid. All bookings, irrespective of when made, must be paid in full 45 days prior to arrival date.
Prices quoted on foreign destinations are based on exchange rates applicable on the day of the quotation.
Should the exchange rate vary from this, on date final payment is received the invoice will be amended accordingly. This final price will be determined by the exchange rate on the day full payment is received by Briza Do Mar 2 Reservations.
All payments via Bank transfers, Credit Card or cash bank deposits, must include all relevant bank charges.
Cancellation and refund policy
Should notice be given by the client of his/her intention to cancel, refunds will be given as set out below.
Between 60 & 31 days prior to arrival - refund of all amounts paid except for cancellation fee of 50% of total price.
No refunds whatsoever will be given for any cancellation received less than 30 days prior to arrival.
In exceptional circumstances, and at the sole discretion of Briza Do Mar 2 Reservations, where we manage to obtain a full refund for the client, all amounts will be refunded, except for an amount equal to 20% of the total final invoice value, which will be retained by Briza Do Mar 2 Reservations to cover bank charges, costs and commissions.
The client must give written notice of his / her intention to cancel, stating detailed reasons why before a refund will be considered.
Travelers are strongly advised to take out adequate travel insurance.
Unused Services / Facilities
The rates quote for the booking is based on prepaid rates, and as such no refunds for unused services and / or facilities can be entertained, for any reason whatsoever, including those suffered / incurred as a result of inclement weather, missed connections, illness, injury or death.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that they have adequate travel insurance, correct visas, valid passports, and any other travel documentation that may be required for their holiday.
Indemnity and Fine print
Briza Do Mar 2 Reservations acts as a booking agent only for various operators, and as such is not liable for any loss of or damage to, property, life or person, for any reason whatsoever. The client by his booking indemnifies Briza Do Mar 2 Reservations from any such claims.
Further as such is not liable for any loss or damage suffered as a result of any airline delays, missed connections, accommodation substitutions, non performance, negligence, or omissions of any of the resorts, operators or agents, or any additional costs suffered as a result of these events.
Briza Do Mar 2 Reservations transfer monies received from clients, in good faith, to the various hotels, resorts, lodges, operators, service providers and agents and as such cannot be held liable in any way should these funds be misappropriated by these various hotels, resorts, lodges, operators, service providers and agents or lost as a result of insolvency or absconding by any of them.
All schedules, costs, tour arrangements and conditions subject to change, without any recourse whatsoever, at the sole discretion of Briza Do Mar 2 Reservations.
Should the accommodation booked not be available for any reason whatsoever, Briza Do Mar 2 Reservations reserves the right to book alternative accommodation of a similar standard.
Briza Do Mar 2 Reservations recommends and books accommodation in good faith on behalf of the client from information at its disposal, and gives no warranties as to suitability for the client. Briza Do Mar 2 Reservations accepts no liability as to any expenses incurred by the client as a result of the client substituting any accommodation and / or arrangements.
Bookings with Briza Do Mar 2 Reservations shall constitute acceptance of these conditions.
