Mount Champagne Cottage comfortably accommodates up to eight guests and comprises four bedrooms with three bathrooms, a lounge, kitchen, dining area and utility room. The lounge features a fireplace (temporarily unavailable for use) and a TV with DStv. The dining area contains a eight-seater dining table and chairs, and the kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a stove and oven, microwave, kettle, and toaster. Features also include a spacious and secluded garden which is just right for sunbathing, with the Sterkspruit river just a stone’s throw away.

There are extensive walks and organized hikes in the surrounding area and the famous Drakensberg World Heritage Site. Other activities include trips to rock art sites, horse riding, mountain biking, and helicopter trips. The renowned Drakensberg Boys Choir School borders the property and the sound of their weekly concerts echo across the valley.
