Important Information
• Check-in time : 14h00
• Check-out time : 10h00.
• Penalty Fee of R 250 p/person will apply if not adhered to.
• There is a 5km gravel road leading from our main gate (on the R34) to the main lodge. This
road might be slippery and muddy during heavy rains; thus, we would recommend using a
4x4 vehicle.
• No room service or in-room dining.
• The main access gate of the farm will be unlocked at 07h00 every morning and locked at
20h00 every evening for security reasons.
• No beverages may be brought on the property as Morakane has a liquor licence.
• No loud music/noise.
• Whilst the general dress code at the Lodge is Casual, guests must be always representable.
Full day attire when using the public Lodge area.
• Dinner is served between 19h00 and 20h00; breakfast is served from 07h30 to 09h30.
• Wi-Fi is available at the main lodge building.
• Limited Wi-Fi and mobile reception can occur during power failures and loadshedding.
• Generator electricity is available during power failures and loadshedding but is selectively
used from 07h00 until 22h00.
• Please note that no guests are allowed to walk or drive with their own vehicle on the farm
during their visit.
• Guests may encounter wildlife in and around the lodge and accommodation areas.
Please do not feed, interact, provoke, or chase any of the animals.
• Morakane Lodge is a hunting destination as advertised and therefore guests may encounter
trophies and hunting activity during their stay. Please do contact us if you need more
