Montpellier was established in 1714 and has a long history as a working farm in the community of Tulbagh and the Cape.

★★★★★ The cottage was not clearly shown in the pictures when you book. There is only a picture of the bed and nothing else. The cottage is run down and needs some working on. There were no bowls or cork screw available. The security car drives by twice during the evening and wakes you up with their lights shining through the extremely thin curtains.
