Safari: Animal sanctuaries nearby. Local monkeys and peacocks pop in to visit from time to time. Duck feeding for children.

Beach: Misty Mountain Reserve is situated 230m above sea level overlooking 180 degree view of the vast Indian Ocean.

Golf: Our Mashie 9-hole Chip and Wedge course is great for some family fun or a game of Foot golf "The New way to Play" . The longest hole is 138 meters and the shortest, 37 meters. The course is flat with no degree of difficulty.

Wedding Venues: Special celebrations, small weddings, 21'st can be catered for. Beautiful open field with ocean backdrop for ceremony. Restaurant and outside lounge perfect no matter the weather. Specialised menu available on request.

Conference Venues: Contemporary conference venue. Max 50 delegates, 'U' shaped. Whiteboard, flip chart, overhead projector/screen, internet access, business office, notepads, pens, mineral water, designated hands on staff.

Family friendly: Fun on site activities, enchanted forest walk, guided David Lane Trail, 9 hole mashie golf, Quad biking, Mountain biking, swimming pool, Jenga, Jungle gym. Vast open grass area in front of lodge to play while parents relax on their deck.

★★★★★ Unfortunately Safari now and Misty had a break in communication as our booking was not received. We arrived on our wedding night to find that no such booking was recorded. A guest gave up their suite to accomodate us as Misty had no vacancies.

★★★★★ Definitely loved the room especially the bath!!! Brekie was lovely but the food at Dinner was outstanding!!! View from deck was oh my word- heavenly & sooo peaceful to watch early morning!!! A weekend was to short & would look at going back for a longer period!!
