About Milkwood

Milkwood offers classic comfort in the bush and is set on the border of the Kruger National Park. It is located in a beautiful wildlife conservancy, Marloth Park, where one can see zebra, giraffe and other wildlife. Free WiFi offered. There are three air-conditioned bedrooms, an outdoor dining area and a splash pool at this unit. Bush babies and common duiker visit every evening and zebras stop by to stick their heads in the kitchen door looking for carrots. You will also hear lions and hyenas, fish eagles and hippos in the area. The Kruger National Park is only a 15-minute drive from the conservancy and there are many attractions in the area, including Pilgrim’s Rust and God’s Window.

Safari: There is several wonderful safari companies that will pick you up at the house and offer half and full day safaris.

Spa: There are several spas located in Marloth Park, including one very qualified team that will come to the house and offers massages and other services such as facials, manicures, and pedicures. Contact information is in our users guide at the house.

Family friendly: The house is a great place for children to enjoy the African bush, there is a small splash pool and lots of animal visits. A full DSTV package, DVD/blueray player and children's movies.

It was impressive! My kids enjoyed it, especially my grandson. Everything about the place was well laid out, the place had an upgrade and I even told Bev that I will definitely return. An experience out of this world.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Milkwood, every home comfort and more. Added bonus to this self-catering is having it serviced everyday so even mom gets a proper break. Harriet you are a star - thank you. Jeanine and Vincent are always a phone call away for any kind of help needed and will pop down if required. Cannot fault anything in the house, everything worked, and everything was clean and well kept. Online photos are correct. Loved being greeted by the resident game - Zebra, Warthog, Kudu, Wildebeest, just to mention a few - every time we were on the deck. Would definitely recommend...

Soul food - feel so relaxed and refreshed. This was such an amazing place. It appears pricey for most people, but really worth the extra money as you really dont have to go anywhere after you have arrived at this place. We have seen more animals sitting on the deck that on any game drive. Will definitely visit again. Totally love it!!!

A lovely comfortable home. Has everything that you need. We enjoyed feeding all the animals that came to visit!

We had a wonderful time at Milkwood. The house is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need (including air-con!) and the interaction with the animals is amazing. We had Zebras at the kitchen door and warthogs at the fence for their evening treat, Bush babies, Eland and the occasional Impala visiting the watering hole. Great experience and would highly recommend.
