Located on the beachfront, guests can go fishing from the rocks, snorkelling or watch the whales from the patio during June to November. The cormorants leave the nearby colony at Dyer Island, offering a wonderful sight. Guests can do the Groot Melkhout Trail which is a beautiful 2 km circular trail. Guests can also visit the private Strandveld Museum, go shark cage diving, whale watching from a boat or take the short drive to Gansbaai and do some exploring.
