Meerhof Lodge is a charming four-star lodge with self-catering cottages. It has beautiful views over the water and onto the Magaliesberg mountains. ★★★★★ Lovely place very thoughtfully done with everything needed.the only thing I can recommend for improvement is better coffee for R1000 per night they can at least offer Nescafe and not Ricoffy other than that I cannot fault and would highly recommend.

★★★★★ The Lodge was not as advertised in the photos. We were not received kindly and the receptionist was not very helpful. She did not outline the rules and meal times for us. There was only 1x set of towels although we booked for a couple. Room did not smell fresh - we had to quickly change clothes for our function which started at 14h30. ★★★★★ Staff was helpfull when we booked in. You have you own entrance and that is a plus. On opening room music channel was on and too load. We went out the night and only on returning after 10 that night discovered that the Spa bath did not work tap was leaking, bathroom light was not working. I would suggest that you put automatic room freshers because the room had a funny smell.
