Marechelle Country Estate offers accommodation in Kempton Park, it is located only 10 kilometres from O.R. Tambo International Airport. The town boasts a variety of shopping malls, water parks, and easy access to popular tourist destinations, making it the ideal location for both business and leisure travellers.

Accommodation is available in 18 rooms with en-suite bathroom and honeymoon suite. Each standard bedroom has two single beds and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Furthermore, each room has a wardrobe, air-conditioning, workstation, bar fridge and tea- and coffee-making facilities.

The honeymoon suite has a double bed and an open-plan en-suite bath and shower. The room also has a TV and a dining table with seating for two.

Guests can cool off in the shared pool, picnic in the garden, braai at the boma or enjoy a light meal at the on-site restaurant as well as refreshments at the bar. There is also a large lapa surrounded by a koi pond and beautiful water elements.

Beautiful venue but I wasn’t satisfied with the service I got . When I arrived at the venue no one was around to welcome me and it was my birthday so some of my guests even started arriving and seeing me in my makeup whilst I was supposed to be checked in and relaxing in my room before I make an entrance. I had to look around for people to help me and they kept sending me around and it wasn’t clear where the reception was. And also I booked a room with a double bed but they gave me a room with two single beds.

I wouldn’t recommend. It was loadshedding when I arrived and I waited for over 15 minutes in a fairly dangerous road for someone to open the gate. Once inside I was met by Max who was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the place is not set up for loadshedding at all as there wasn’t even a lamp to see by. I had to use my phone torch to unpack and there was a black cockroach on the dresser. There was also what looked like blood stains down the side of the bedding. The water came out of the shower in a trickle but at least it was hot. The grounds looked lovely but I definitely won’t be returning...
