We were welcomed by a friendly gentleman by the name of Zito. After a struggle with safarinow not willing to assist us with a cancellation of another booking we found ourselves being assisted by Zito even though we came in a day ahead of our checkin date. Had good food at the camp. In future the ower can just try to add ensuits with private showers. We had a lovely stay at Manico Camp.

Firstly I could not believe how few people there were at the resort. August is the perfect time to visit. No mozzies, no humidity and perfect temperatures. We pretty much had the resort to ourselves. The staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. The resort is on the beach and only a 2km walk to the village for the best seafood you will find anywhere! Basic, clean self-catering accommodation for the adventurous traveller!

However, the things one really does need here—sunscreen, bug spray—are not for sale anywhere on the island. I was also info...
