Magaruque Island

Important Information

Rates include: return road transfers from Vilanculos Airport to the harbour, self-catering, secure parking for self-drive clients at Dona Ana or town office, reef snorkelling within walking distance of each villa, with masks, fins and snorkels available on the island, Mozambican Tourism levy and 17% IVA.

Rates exclude: Boat transfer from Vilankulo Harbour to Magaruque Island. The villa can be pre-stocked with groceries prior to arrival and a 10% service charge will apply. All activities whilst on the island. It is advisable to pre-book all activities during Peak Seasons to ensure your activities are guaranteed.

Magaruque and/or Keychain Hospitality takes no responsibility for the client’s passport validity, visas, travel permits, travel insurance, health certificates, inoculations and any other documentation required for the trip.

All reservations will only be deemed confirmed when a 20% non-refundable deposit or credit card guarantee is received by the hotel. All reservations, cancellations and amendments for FIT and Groups are to be made and confirmed in writing by both parties. Reservations will be held provisionally for a maximum of 14 days from date of reservation unless a confirmed status is requested by The Agent / Guest. Reservations made inside of 30 days prior to arrival will be held provisionally for 72 hours unless confirmed status is requested by The Agent / Guest and full pre-payment received. Provisional bookings will be held for periods stipulated above. Thereafter The Hotel / Keychain Hospitality reserves the right to release any such provisional booking. However, should The Hotel / Keychain receive a confirmed booking during the stipulated period, you will be informed in writing to confirm your reservation. Failure to do so within 24 hours may result in the booking being cancelled. Should a booking be confirmed and the number of guests and/or rooms be reduced, our standard Cancellation policy will apply.

All bookings must be pre-paid in full 45 days prior to travel. Should deposit payments not be received by due date, the Hotel reserves the right to cancel the reservations or recover the outstanding amount from the guest direct, without prior notice. Proof of payment must be sent through to the Reservations Office with the Reservations Reference AND Guest Name clearly stated on the correspondence. Payment is not confirmed until advised accordingly by the hotel. Payment for all additional services rendered such as meals, beverages, leisure activities, telephone calls, laundry and all items of a personal nature must be settled direct by the guest on departure. Standard deposit and cancellation policies may be altered during any major event, peak occupancies and/or other unique occasions.
