About Madwaleni River Lodge
Madwaleni River Lodge is Babanango Game Reserve’s new ultra-luxury lodge situated in the heart of Zululand, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.The lodge is nestled into the banks of the iconic White Umfolozi River offering guests spectacular views of the rolling valleys and wilderness area. The lodge offers guests a choice of 12 luxury tented suites that accommodate 2 people each.Furnished with twin beds that can convert to king-size beds or king-size beds with mosquito nets, each unit has an en-suite bathroom with a shower and his and hers basins. Important Information
Our Luxury Accommodation includes the below:
* Breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.
* Waters, basic teas and coffees.
* 2 x game drives per day.
* Game drive include snacks, tea and coffee
* Madwaleni River Lodge includes all local beverages.
Rate Exclusions:
* Daily community & conservation fees of R180 per adult per day & R90 per child per day
* Gratuities and items of a personal nature
* Extra activities offered by the Lodge/Camp
* Gift shop purchases
* Madwaleni River Lodge - Premium alcoholic beverages
Child policy:
* No children under the age of 7 years on game drives (unless private vehicle booked)
* Valley Lodge: Maximum of 2 children u/12 in a luxury suite shared with parents
* Zulu Rock Lodge: Maximum 1 child u/12 in a luxury suite shared with parents (prior arrangement only)
* Madwaleni River Lodge: 1 child staying with 2 Adults in a tent u/18 will pay 50% of Adult Rate
* Please note Valley Lodge is fully fenced, however both Zulu Rock Lodge and Madwaleni River Lodge are not fenced, and we recommend extreme caution with smaller children.
* We recommend that children are to be supervised by their parents at all times.
* 0–3 = Free. 4–11 = 50% of Adult rate. 12+ = Adult rate
Payment Policy:
* All reservations require a 30% deposit to secure booking date/s
* All deposits must be paid within 72 hours of making a reservation - failure to receive funds in the stipulated time will result in the automatic cancellation of the booking.
* Full and final settlement of a reservation must be made no later than 30 days before arrival
* Any reservations made 30-days or less before arrival will require full settlement within 24 hours of making a reservation

Cancellation and Amendment Policy:
* 4 weeks before arrival - 25% of the full amount
* 3 weeks before arrival - 50% of the full amount
* 2 weeks before arrival - 75% of the full amount
* 1 week before arrival - 100% of the full amount
* All cancellations and amendments must be made in writing
* All amendments made to bookings paid in full are subject to availability and will incur a R1,000
penalty change fee per booking.
* Bookings paid in full cannot be amended 7 days before arrival. Should changes be made within this time frame - this will be subject to availability and lodge manager’s discretion.
