Madisa Camp

Madisa Campsite is situated on the popular D2612 road going towards Twyfelfontein, in Namibia. The camp is hidden between unusual rock formations and is privy to a desert elephant route, that often gets visited by these beautiful giants.There are nine Private Campsites with their own ablution facilities, and five large Overland Sites with shared ablution facilities. Each campsite has lovely views of the Gauntegab River bed and rock formations, as well as solar-powered lights.The ablution facilities are built on stilts and hidden in the tree tops. Madisa Campsite is situated on the popular D2612 road going towards Twyfelfontein, in Namibia. The camp is hidden between unusual rock formations and is privy to a desert elephant route, that often gets visited by these beautiful giants.

There are nine Private Campsites with their own ablution facilities, and five large Overland Sites with shared ablution facilities. Each campsite has lovely views of the Gauntegab River bed and rock formations, as well as solar-powered lights.

The ablution facilities are built on stilts and hidden in the tree tops. The braai areas also double-up as a donkey system for hot running water at each open-air shower.

The swimming pool and bar area are tucked away among the granite rocks, very welcoming after a long day and socializing with other guests. Game drives, sun downers, village walks, and tracking the desert-adapted elephants are some activities to enjoy.
