About Lukimbi Safari Lodge
Lukimbi Safari Lodge is a stunning new lodge situated in the easily accessible southern portion of the Kruger National Park. Taking guided walks or game drives on our private roads, or just relaxing in the magnificent lodge, it all happens on over 37 000 acres of exclusive use prime game and wilderness area.
14 spacious suites combine luxury and modern African décor with stunning river views, whilst our Giant Eagle Owl and King Cheetah suites each include a private pool and second bathroom. The challenge was to build a lodge that would look unique and artistic and would reflect the surrounding bush, as well as the spirit of African myths and legends.
This is a lodge with art, colour and exciting furnishing, but at the same time your eye is drawn outwards to the beckoning bush beyond. The openness of the architecture ensures that you are aware of the bird calls and movements of the animals outside. However, the height of the lodge above the river provides a viewing point with a feeling of safety. The raised walkways provide guests with clear and easy access to their suites.
Children are welcome but not under the age of two years. Full children's programme and activities available. Please ask the Lodge for more information. Families with children under the age of 5 years must reserve their own private vehicle, rates on request. Baby-sitting facilities available.
No more than six children at any one time. All families with children will be booked into the same wing at the lodge. Maximum of two children sharing with parents in one room. Children over 12 will get their own room.

Special Instructions: The front desk is open daily from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM. This property doesn't offer after-hours check-in. Front desk staff will greet guests on arrival. Lukimbi Safari Lodge is located within Kruger National Park, approximately 45-minute drive from the Malelane Gate. Guests will not be able to enter or leave the park when the park is closed. To ensure access to the property upon arrival, the property recommends that guests are booked to arrive at Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport between 11 AM and noon (no later than 2:30 PM) on the day of arrival.
