Being so close to nature was the best stress relief I felt in a long time. Most beautiful surrounds and most hospitable host and hostess. Will definitely go back.

We booked this Lodge as a stopover between Kempton Park and St Lucia, as the guys wanted to try their hand at trout fishing. Luiperdkloof consists of 2 self catering "chalets" (more like small houses!) situated on a working catlle/sheep farm situated between Utrecht, Vryheid and Wakkerstroom close to the Natal Battlefields. We spent one night at Luiperkloof Trout Lodge en route to Hluhluwe-Imfolozi park from OR Tambo airport. We got lost nearby and arrived at 8pm, which was a pity because the next morning, we awoke to stunning views front (beautiful dam) and back (cows and sheep).
