About Lodge Lucanus

Lodge Lucanus is a tranquil guest lodge nestled along the Waterberg Mountains, approximately 22km outside of Bela-Bela. The lodge offers a variety of fully-equipped, self-catering units in a rustic bushveld setting with stunning mountain views. Smaller units can accommodate groups between 2 and 10 guests, while the 32-sleeper Monato unit is ideal for large family gatherings, conferences, or bachelor/bachelorette parties. Guests can unwind by the swimming pool, enjoy a sundowner around the campfire, or take a walk around the property to view the many bird species and small game.

★★★★★ I enjoyed the weekend at Lodge Lucanus , it was a very peaceful and relaxing stay. The unit was very clean and the staff are very helpful. I did not like the beds , that are not comfortable and this is an area that can be improved.

★★★★★ the stay at the establishemnt was good although the rooms could have been stated on site that a stay for 4 people is one big room with 2single beds and 1 double bed i we did not like that because if we came as 2 couples there there wont be any privacy that is a messed up arrangement, the other is this thing of wanting guest to pay extra R500 whilst you should investigate the room when guest leave... The 10km dirt road is a bit Off putting but once that’s over you get to enjoy a lovely home. It is completely peaceful and lovely for a little break away from the city.
