Great care has been taken constructing this quaint lodge. L’Oasis Lodge and Restaurant Arusha is tucked away in a quiet residential area of Arusha known as Sekei, set in lush, private grounds facing Mount Meru. Offering unique accommodation in spacious surrounds, inhabited by Henry our crested crane, you will immediately feel part of Africa, relaxed and at home. L’Oasis Lodge and Restaurant Arusha is suitable for groups and the independent traveller alike, and it is an ideal base for those setting off on an adventure from Arusha.
Select from guestrooms in the main building or traditional cottages set among well-maintained lawns and lily ponds. All rooms have en-suite facilities and are simply but tastefully furnished. A mixture of indigenous and modern design is cleverly balanced to provide comfortable accommodation, individual wildlife murals with African themes giving each room a character of its own. Rooms on stilts offer superb views of Mount Meru and its undulating surroundings, while rooms at ground level are spacious enough to accommodate family groups as well as single person or couple. With only twenty six rooms, the privacy of guests is ensured along with a convivial affinity between staff and guests.
An additional annex called ‘Backpackers Paradise’ offers 12 twin rooms with communal bathroom facilities. The same care and attention has been taken in its construction and it offers ideal comfort for groups looking after their pennies.
The Main Restaurant offers both full English and continental breakfast, and snacks, as well as a choice of daily menus featuring dishes from Africa, Asia and European. For a more casual dining experience try The Lounge at L’Oasis, where you can either relax by the pool or chill out in our lounge style restaurant. The Lounge serves a range of mouth-watering dishes from Kilimanjaro nachos to vegetarian or chicken wraps as well as burgers and pizzas. For those looking for a quieter ‘drinking hole’, there is a small quaint bar situated opposite the main restaurant. Both restaurants offer a high standard of cuisine and enjoy a healthy reputation for a variety of dishes including vegetarian and seafood meals prepared on order.
