Just over an hour’s drive from Joburg and Pretoria on good roads, with only 7km on a reasonable gravel road.We are 100% off the grid which means limiting energy-hungry appliances such as electric kettles and hair dryers. The rooms, therefore, do not have microwave ovens but we do have a backup generator and a microwave in the main house if you do need something warmed up.Maanhaarrand is a visual extravaganza for those who love the natural splendour of this country, as well as its fauna and flora.
