The camp is home to many species of bird and other small animals, with each occupying their own place amid the surrounding trees and bush land.

Samburu National Reserve offers indescribable beauty, an abundance of wildlife, and a sense of remoteness which sets it apart from its more famous counterparts. It is a wonderful base from which to explore greater Samburu, the spectacular mountains of Matthews Range and the undulating hills of Laikipia to the west.
