About Leopard Walk Lodge
Your Visit to Leopard Walk Lodge will bring you to one of South Africa’s most spectacular eco-tourism regions, The Elephant Coast of Zululand, on the North East Coast of South Africa.
During your adventure safari, you will experience a wonderful ambience of peace and tranquillity. Nestled on the edge of rare sand forest habitat in Suni-Ridge Private Wildlife Reserve, an unforgettable opportunity of being really close to nature awaits all who visit. You will enjoy unique opportunities to observe and photograph a wide variety of wild animals.
The Reserve is home to numerous red data species of mammal and other wildlife and an amazing number of more than 320 bird species. You may wish to venture to the nearby World Natural Heritage Site, The Greater Saint Lucia Wetland Park, where five distinct ecosystems meet to form a wonderland of ecological diversity to be found nowhere else in South Africa.
At Leopard Walk Lodge guests can relax in well-appointed “out of Africa” accommodation which is situated at the edge of a unique sand forest. All Suites are furnished comfortably with bathrooms/showers ensuite and the forest lodge has an outdoor Jacuzzi where in the evening you may relax under the dazzling stars which are so close that you may wish to touch them.
Enjoy delicious South African cuisine during meals at the lounge and dining facility overlooking the waterhole where animals are to be observed whilst they come to drink. Tales and experiences of the day will be exchanged over beverages at the relaxing Trackers Rest Bar. In the early morning a spectacular view of the sunrise, or in the evening the majestic sight of the full moon rising over the African bush will be an unforgettable experience to be enjoyed from Moonrise Deck.
