L’Chiam Cottage is situated in Bergview Estate, a controlled access area in Champagne Valley, Drakensberg, Kwa-Zulu Natal. The property can accommodate 8 guests in 4 bedrooms.
The garden is home to many bird species, and overhead you may expect to see eagles, vultures, and smaller raptors. Guests may also encounter small buck, and the odd porcupine. Monkeys and baboons are also regular visitors. Hiking trails in the berg start either from a neighbouring hotel and from the top of the Estate.
There are a number of golf courses within 5 -15min drive radius of the cottage.
The cottage is situated in an eco-estate with beautiful walks and cycling routes. The neighboring hotel offers activities for families and children, including a swimming pool. The area is also known for the many adventure activities it offers.
L'Chiam Cottage is situated in its own private garden. We only host one group of guests at a time and allow a minimum of 24hours to pass between bookings to allow for thorough cleaning and sanitizing between guest parties.
