There is no electricity, however, each cottage contains a gas geyser to heat the water; no use of hairdryers, cellphone chargers etc. can be used. There are LED lights and paraffin lamps in each cottage as well.
Guests can take a trip into town to visit the shops, historical sites, or the famous hot mineral springs. There are also a variety of outdoor adventure activities to experience in the area. Cape Town International Airport is located 193 km away.
