About Langi Langi Beach Bungalows

Langi Langi Beach Bungalows is situated on the beautiful island of Zanzibar, in Nungwi village on the North Coast. This area is famous for deep-sea fishing, fantastic swimming beaches and dhow-making. PADI diving courses, snorkelling and sailing are among the pastimes you can enjoy at Langi Langi.

Langi Langi’s bungalows are designed and furnished in a Zanzibari tradition, with all modern amenities, comfort and attention to detail. All of the suites enjoy magnificent views either of the Indian Ocean and white sand beaches or the gardens. Each room has a choice of a king-size bed or twin single beds and features air-conditioning, ceiling fans, telephone, safety deposit box, fridge, and hairdryer.

The Marhaba Restaurant at Langi Langi is considered one of the best on the island, offering some of the best Zanzibari food with a variety of fresh from the ocean seafood. While having breakfast, lunch or dinner you can also enjoy the stunning views of the Indian Ocean and dhows sailing in the ocean. Marhaba Café, our coffee lounge, serves Africa’s finest blends including cappuccino, espresso, latte and such homemade decadent deserts and fresh fruit juices.

In addition, Langi Langi is the only hotel on the island that offers cooking classes at our cafe, where the hotel owner cum manager cum chef guides our guests in cooking some of the best Zanzibari cuisine. Once you finish cooking, our chef and all the guests who took part in the cooking class sit and dine together, enjoying the food which they have cooked.

The garden at Langi Langi is the perfect place to enjoy some quiet time or read a book in the cool shadows of the trees, with the scents of fragrant flora. We also have an exotic massage deck overlooking the swimming pool for guests' relaxation. Other features offered at Langi Langi include an Internet café with high speed connection, money changing facilities and office facilities.

Numerous activities are available at Langi Langi and in and around Zanzibar, and our manager would be happy in assisting you to arrange all these at a very reasonable price. Some activities include tours to Stone Town, spice tours, dhow cruises, safari blue, Jozani Forest, Prison Island, diving, kayaking, snorkelling, and fishing.
