Important Information
1) Please note that this is a quotation for the enquired dates for accommodation only and not a confirmation for the enquiry period. Quote valid for 24hours
2) Bookings are only confirmed upon payment of the full amount listed in the column above
3) Bookings dates will not be held prior to payment and bookings operate on a first come
first serve basis for the requested dates.
BOOKING PROCEDURE
1) Confirm before payment that your requested accommodation date is still available if booking 24 hours within receipt of this email
2) Deposit the full amount for your enquiry ( Bank details listed below ) via direct payment option to book accommodation. A refundable deposit is included when booking accommodation
This amount is refunded back to the client subject to additional facilities utilised during your stay or any damages and breakages incurred during your stay. These will be deducted from the above mentioned amount.
3) Notify Lammergeier of your payment immediately after transfer via the following:
4) You will receive an electronic notification from Lammergeier confirming that your payment has been received and that your booking date and venue have been secured.
5) Return quotation via email to Lammergeier with your banking details filled in the space provided below
6) If you do not receive a confirmation SMS for your booking, please enquire to the above cellphone number No bookings will be confirmed without adherence to this procedure.
7) Management reserves the right to change the venue booked to alternative venues should situations arise which are out of the control of the reserves management.

CANCELLATION POLICY
1) If a cancellation is made 6 months prior to arrival, an amount of 5% will be withheld for administration and the
balance of the amount paid over will be refunded.
2) If cancellation is made between 3 and 6 months prior to due date of arrival, 75% of the amount already paid
over will be refunded.
3) If cancellation is made 2 months prior to the reserved date of arrival, 50% of the original amount paid will be
refunded.
4) If a cancellation is made one month or less prior to reservation date, no refund will be made.

CODE OF CONDUCT
1. Mountain environments are fragile and special care needs to be taken to ensure that they are protected, especially in adverse weather conditions when risk of erosion is high.
2. Stay on the marked track at all times. Grassland scars easily and can take years to recover.
3. From time to time it may be necessary t close certain parts of the reserve, if so, these areas will be clearly indicated at your arrival.
4. Please drive only on the roads provided - vehicles can damage the vegetation.
5. Fire can cause devastating losses. Please don’t throw cigarette butts down. The lighting of fires is strictly forbidden except in the demarcated areas at the overnight huts and accommodation.
6. Please do not litter. There is no one to clean up after you.
7. To protect our environment we would appreciate if a policy of ‘What ever you bring in – you take out’ were followed.
8. Only portable camp stoves (Gas, Benzine, Paraffin) may be used in the overnight huts.
9. It is illegal to pick any plant, or to disturb or kill any animal in the reserve or to remove or disfigure any biological, archaeological or geological material, with the exception only of legally caught fish.
10. Before fishing in the reserve, it is necessary to obtain a permit from the officer in charge, and to be in possession of a valid fishing license.
11. Visitors taking deliberate and obvious short cuts when hiking, could speed up erosion, this is a punishable offence and you are asked to remain on the path.
12. No persons shall cause noise or disturbance at any time.
13. All persons visiting the reserve must register at the office for their own safety. Hiking alone in the mountains is strictly prohibited.
14. Do not interfere with the livestock, or any of the watering points.
15. Gates are to be closed.
16. The feeding of animals is prohibited.
17. Soap and detergents may only be used at the overnight huts and not in streams or rivers. Please do not pollute water courses as this has a severe environmental impact.
18. If nature calls while hiking, please go a distance from the track, use a spade and cover the hole with soil and rocks to prevent toilet paper from blowing away and polluting the area.

What to bring:
Fully equipped. Just bring the following: Your own food, drinks, braai wood, swimming towels, clothing,sunglasses,hats, binoculars, camera,sunscreen (a must), warm weather clothing and jacket, tracksuit, good walking shoes, charcoal and accessories,eco-friendly detergents/soap & insect repellant. The weather can change very quickly.
Please follow signboards to reception where you’ll receive your documentation. Indemnity forms need to be signed by each member upon arrival.
