Set within the heart of the Natal Midlands, Lake Lintrose Self-catering Cottages offers a great accommodation choice to guests. It is situated outside of the town of Nottingham Road and is ideal for nature enthusiasts.This beautiful farmland is located on the edge of the Spring Grove Dam and offers two charming cottages.
Each cottage has four well-appointed bedrooms, a comfortable lounge and a well-equipped kitchen. There is one bedroom with a queen size bed and an en suiete bathroom. Two further rooms have queen size beds and one room has two single beds. There is another guest toilet and a further bathroom with a shower and toilet.
These cottages also have large verandah's offering lovely views of the dam and the surrounding area and include a braai area. The verandahs have sliding doors, so you can close the verandah up for those colder days or nights.
The cottages are equiped with DSTV but it is always a good idea to bring along extra games and things to do in the evenings of if you are not outdoors or exploring the midlands.We are 5 km away from the Midlands Meander where there are over 50 exciting activities for kids, restaurants, Beauty spas and lots of wonderful arts and craft shops.
There are two golf courses in the area and we are about an hour’s drive away from Giants Castle where day visitors can book a day there and do a small hike to see the well preserved Bushmen paintings.
We are also about half an hour away from the Karkloof canopy tours in Howick.
Guests can enjoy activities such as bird watching, fishing, cycling on the farm road or simply just delighting in nature walks around the farm and surrounding area.
Guests can then enjoy a delicious braai on the verandah while appreciating a stunning sunset.
