Please note that in addition to the invoice received from SafariNow, you will also receive an invoice from Stay in Langebaan, requesting a mandatory R2000.00 REFUNDABLE breakage deposit. This deposit will be refunded to you after 10 working days, should no breakages, damages or speeding fines be owed by you.
To ensure a smooth start to your stay, please remember to contact Beatrice(will receive details when booking is confirmed) a delightful 30 minutes before your arrival. She'll be there to greet you at the security gate, ready to assist with check-in and key collection. Additionally, for check out, it is important to reach out to Beatrice one hour beforehand to arrange key collection.

As you settle in, we kindly ask you to embrace our house rules that help preserve the stunning fynbos and vibrant wildlife around us—like keeping your speed under 30 km/h and respecting the natural habitats. Remember, pets are not allowed, and it’s essential to stick to designated trails for walking and cycling.

Langebaan Country Estate (LCE): Speeding fine implementation:
* Due to LCE being a lifestyle-orientated estate, it means we have many sports enthusiasts and children running, cycling and playing on and near the Estate's roads and pathways, as well as our precious fauna grazing around. To keep your loved ones safe, we take speeding very seriously on the Estate.
* In terms of Clause 7.8 of the House Rules, the speed limit for Ellefsen Village and the general Estate is 15km/h and 30km/h respectively. The LCEOA Constitution allows for the imposition of penalties in terms of Clause 43, and the Trustees of the LCEOA have subsequently approved the following fines for speeding (including golf carts) and other traffic violations, which will be effective immediately:
1. Speeding - LCE Township Roads:
35 - 30 km/h - R 250.00
40 - 44 km/h - R 500.00
45 - 49 km/h - R 1,000.00
50 - 54 km/h - R 1,500.00
55- 59 km/h - R 1,750.00
60+ km/h - R 2,500.00 (Minimum fine, or as determined by the Trustees)

If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total
If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit
If cancelling 21 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit
If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit
