Koelfontein Farm

Koelfontein offers self-catering accommodation on a working farm 32 km from Nxuba (Cradock). The farm is situated in a relatively remote area and is ideal for walks, mountain biking and bird watching. There is a large dam on which you can canoe when it is full. Numerous animal species inhabit the farm and are regularly seen, including kudu, mountain reedbuck, steenbok, duiker and springbok.Accommodation is offered in a 10-sleeper Main Farmhouse and a separate outside 4-sleeper Cottage that are rented exclusively together for groups of up to 14 guests.The Main Farmhouse

Numerous animal species inhabit the farm and are regularly seen, including kudu, mountain reedbuck, steenbok, duiker and springbok.

Accommodation is offered in a 10-sleeper Main Farmhouse and a separate outside 4-sleeper Cottage that are rented exclusively together for groups of up to 14 guests.

The Main Farmhouse comprises 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, dining area, and lounge. The first bedroom contains a queen-size bed and a ceiling fan. The second and third bedrooms each contain a double bed and one has an additional single bed. The third bedroom has a single and a bunk. The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering with a stove and oven, fridge, microwave, kettle, and cutlery and crockery. The dining room contains a 6-seater dining table and chairs and an additional table can be added if required. The cosy lounge features a fireplace, and a TV with a DVD player. Outside, there is a lovely stoep with outdoor seating, and a garden and swimming pool area with braai facilities.

The Cottage contains a 4 single beds, and a bathroom with a shower-over-bath, a toilet and washbasin. The cottage has a basic kitchenette, a 4-seater dining table and chairs, and a cosy lounge area.
