Klip River Country Estate is a family-owned business and we pride ourselves in our attention to detail and truly personalized service. Our country Guest House is situated South of Johannesburg on the banks of the Klip River in Vereeniging. Our location makes us the perfect retreat from the Johannesburg city center. The fusion of our country gardens and luxury amenities makes Klip River Country Estate Guest House an elegant yet charming home away from home.

We always strive to make your stay as comfortable as possible and cater for all type of stays – would it be a corporate visit to the area, a romantic break with the one you love, one night’s stay when you’ve joined a wedding celebration at our venue or if your company is looking for a long stay agreement for contract work in the area. All guests are important, and we have special packages to suit your requirements, be it a family group staying for a wedding or contractors staying for a few weeks.

Klip River Country Estate is conveniently situated close to the Midvaal Raceway. Stay with us for the next big event in the area whether it is for the Value Logistics Fast One Cycle Race, Motor, Bike or Drag racing. Our guest house is also close to Dick Fourie Stadium where the Cape Gate Vaal Marathon kicks off every March. We pride ourselves in personalized service and serve breakfast at special times to accommodate our athletes and cyclist.

Wedding Venues: We are the perfect venue for a luxury country wedding. Weddings are one of a kind with our personalised service. Our wedding venue consists of several halls to choose from, each one unique in style and to suite different guest numbers.

Conference Venues: Our conference facilities are perfect for small to medium conferences, corporate functions or training. Our venue has a boardroom and different halls to choose from, each one unique in style to suite different guest numbers and function requirements.

Family friendly: We are a family friendly guest house and venue. We have a large covered jungle gym and sand pit for hours of fun. We also have a pool and braai area.

Romantic: We strive to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Feel free to request our romantic getaway package or just a romantic turn-down prior to arrival.

Covid Safety Approved: We pledge to implement a high standard of hygiene and cleaning protocols to ensure the safest environment possible for our guests. We adhere to the industry safety protocols set out by the Tourism Business Council of South Africa (TBCSA).

They also got up at 5:00am to provide the marathon runners with a small breakfast and coffee and allowed the runners to come back, shower and eat a full breakfast afterwards.
