About AHA De Zalze Lodge

De Zalze Lodge offers stylishly decorated rooms and suites set alongside the first fairway of the championship De Zalze Golf Course. The rooms enjoy breathtaking views of the Stellenbosch Mountains and are surrounded by 120 hectares of vineyards.

Accommodation is available in a variety of units with all the comforts associated with a 4 Star facility. For those who prefer to self-cater the rooms also feature fully-equipped kitchens or kitchenettes. In addition to 24-hour security, all units feature air-conditioning, underfloor heating, satellite television, Internet access, room safes, and European wall plugs.

Features at the lodge include a rim-flow swimming pool, a range of vineyard trails for hiking or running, mountain bike trails, and wine tastings or cellar tours. Golfers can indulge virtually on the spot at the De Zalze Golf Course, which is one of the Cape’s finest venues, and continue at a range of other top-ranking courses in the Winelands and beyond.

There are many outstanding examples to see of Cape Dutch architecture, mainly along Dorp Street, as well as several leading art galleries, museums, beautiful boutiques, antique shops, jewelers, farm stalls and an exciting range of restaurants, bistros and brasseries.

Conference Venues: For conferences and functions, Kleine Zalze caters for your needs With a unique winelands venue featuring Views into our production facilities and barrel maturation cellar. The venue can host up to 120 people.
