Kichaka Expeditions is a mobile bush camp specialising in walking safaris deep in the wilderness zones of the mighty Ruaha National Park, one of Africa's remotest and untouched paradises. This camp offers private and exclusive safaris for groups from two to six people concentrating on walking safaris however for the less active the usual game drives are of course readily available. Kichaka moves location throughout the year depending on game movements and we utilise areas of this vast park that other operators dare not venture providing guests with a true and authentic wilderness

Important Information
1. Rates are per person per night
2. Rate includes full board accommodation, all drinks except champagne and premium brands, laundry, air strip transfers
(Msembe) all activities and VAT.
3. All safaris are booked on a private basis.
4. Kichaka does not charge a single supplement
5. Accommodation rates do not include TANAPA park fees which are payable to the company when making the reservation.
6. Rate does not include insurance, airport taxes, gratuities, and personal requirements
7. Guests must have full medical and international evacuation cover.
8. No children under the age of 16.
9. Kichaka is unable to accept triples.
10. The minimum number of guests per booking is two people and cannot exceed six people.

12. These rates are nett and confidential and are subject to our terms and conditions of business.
13. These rates are subject to a semi-annual review and are based on performance.
14. The above rates will be held ceteris paribus. However, we reserve the right to amend these rates should any factor, beyond
our control, materially affect the conditions under which these rates were set.
Non residents of Tanzania are required by law to pay in foreign convertible currencies. Payment for extras can be made at the properties by cash no credit cards are accepted: Please bring your passport to prove resident status.
ACCESS
Kichaka Expeditions Ltd cannot be held responsible for road and airstrip conditions, which may at times
render access to and from the camp impossible. Any changes made to the initial booking are subject to
the conditions and rates, even if caused by weather conditions.
RISKS
a) The Company and its owners, directors, management and employees shall not be held responsible for
any illness, injury or death to persons visiting the resort nor for loss or damage to personal property,
however they may be caused.
b) The Company draws your attention to the fact that there are certain inherent risks involved in visiting
the properties owned and managed by the Company and that you accept them at your own risk.
c) It is your sole responsibility to take all appropriate medical advice prior to departure as to whether or
not you are fit enough to undertake the trip booked.
d) The Company shall not be responsible for risks arising from circumstances which are out of the control of the Company such as but not limited to environmental pollutants, radio active contamination, nuclear
waste, the combustion of nuclear fuel, or toxic, explosive or other hazardous properties of any nuclear
component of the same or war, invasion, act of foreign enemy, hostilities, civil war, rebellion, government
intervention, quarantine, fire, floods.”
e) The Company will not assume any liability whatsoever to persons visiting its facilities for any act or
omission of the Company done in good faith or arising from circumstances beyond the reasonable control
of the Company
FORCE MAJEURE
a) “Force Majeure” means, in relation to the Company, any circumstances beyond the reasonable control
of the Company (including without limitation, acts of God, explosion, flood, tempest, fire or accident, war
or threat of war, sabotage, insurrection, civil disturbance or requisition, sickness, quarantine, government
intervention, weather conditions or other untoward occurrences).
b) If the Company is affected by Force Majeure it shall forthwith notify you of the nature and extent
thereof.
c) The Company shall not be deemed to be in breach of these terms and conditions or otherwise be liable
to you, by reason of delay in performance, or by non-performance, of any of its obligations hereunder to
the extent that any such delay or non-performance is due to any Force Majeure.
d) If the Company is affected by Force Majeure it shall be entitled to, and may at its sole and absolute
discretion, vary or cancel any reservations or arrangement in relation to the visit. Payment of any refund
by the Company to you as a result of the nonperformance of any of the Company’s obligations hereunder
shall remain in its sole and absolute discretion although the Company shall use its reasonable endeavours
to reimburse you where possible. However the Company shall be entitled to deduct from any refund
recoverable the reasonable actual and potential costs to the Company of the Force Majeure. If, under
circumstance of force majeure The Company, after due deliberation, deems the itinerary, holiday or
service to be able to proceed then no refund shall be payable.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These terms and conditions, under the jurisdiction of the Laws of the Republic of Tanzania, govern the
relationship between the Company and the client, to the total exclusion of any other terms and
conditions. No alterations to the terms and conditions may be made by any of the Company’s employees,
authorised representatives or agents, unless in writing by an authorised officer of the Company. All
decisions and matters subject to the Company’s discretion shall be by an authorised officer of the
Company.
BROCHURES & INFORMATION
All information published by The Company, whether as brochure, written material, electronic or otherwise
is correct (to the best of The Company’s knowledge) at the time of going to press but the right is
reserved to change the same. Photographs and information depict typical scenes and detail but the actual
subject matter depicted may not be seen or experienced whilst on holiday.
DISPUTES
If you have any cause for complaint while traveling, you must immediately bring it to the attention of the
Company’s local representative or agent who will do their best to resolve the situation. Any outstanding
dispute will be settled in the Courts of the United Republic of Tanzania which shall have exclusive
jurisdiction thereof.
CONSENT
The payment of the deposit or any other partial payment for a reservation constitutes consent to all
provisions of the conditions and general information contained in the terms and conditions. The terms on
which you agree to make the reservations cannot be changed unless amended in writing signed by an
authorized officer of the Company.
MOBILITY
Please be advised to truly appreciate the beauty of the bush, all guests must have a good degree of
mobility and not be solely reliant on artificial aids to move around the camp or on and off the vehicles or
planes.
INSURANCE
Insurance is a condition of booking that the sole responsibility lies with the guest to ensure that
they carry the correct comprehensive travel and medical insurance to cover themselves, as well
as any dependents and traveling companions for the duration of their stay whilst visiting
Kichaka’s camps. This insurance should include coverage in respect of, but not limited to, the
following eventualities: cancellation or curtailment of the safari, emergency evacuation
expenses, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, damage, theft or loss of personal baggage,
money and goods. Kichaka Expeditions Ltd will take no responsibility for any costs for losses
incurred or suffered by the guest, or guest's dependents or traveling companions, with regards to,
but not limited to, any of the above mentioned eventualities. Guests will be charged directly by
the relevant service providers for any emergency services they may require, and may find
themselves in a position unable to access such services should they not be carrying the relevant
insurance coverage.
MEDICAL & HEALTH
Participation on our safari or tour toTanzania requires that you be in generally good health. All
guests must understand that while a high level of fitness is not required, a measure of physical
activity is involved in all African safaris and tours. It is essential that persons with any medical
problems and/or related dietary restrictions make them known to us well before departure. Antimalaria
precautions should be taken, and these are the sole responsibility of the client. Kichaka
Expeditions will not assume responsibility for the accuracy of any medical information. You
should consult your doctor for up to date requirements and personal recommendations.
WILD ANIMALS
Please be aware that our safaris may take you into close contact with wild
animals. Attacks by wild animals are rare, but no safari into the African wilderness can guarantee
that this will not occur. Kichaka Expeditions Ltd shall not be held responsible for any injury or
incident on the safari. Please note that our safari lodges and camps are not fenced and that
wildlife does move freely in and around these areas. Always follow the safety instructions from
the camp or camp's staff with regards to moving to and from your tent and while on game
activities throughout your safari.
